Pre–travel Health Assessments
A new service we are introducing is the Pre–travel health assessment. Having been helping private travellers in Northern Ireland for over a decade the travel clinic is aware that those travellers who have medical issues, medication requirement or monitoring requirement can be disappointed at the expensive journey they have booked when they realise the vaccine and medical requirement will interfere with their own current health.
We have realised that they would have been happy with variable journeys and an alternative adventure with more acceptable risk which would have been more appropriate. We are offering the Pre–travel health assessment for those travellers who would like to discuss which areas of the world are best suited to their ongoing health at present, or to discuss a particular plan before embarking on payment for their trip.
We hope this will ultimately lead to safer adventures, less anxiety and less financial cost of changing or cancelling with travel agencies/companies.
